Safety On The Road With NASCAR Drivers


Heavy rain can turn a Sunday drive into a white-knuckle experience. NASCAR driver David Reutimann has these tips to make sure that you make it through the storm:

  • Check your wipers before bad weather strikes and make sure they’re in good shape.
  • Clean road grime off of your windshield. It will help to increase visibility.
  • Always slow to a speed at which you can see the roadway clearly.
  • If the rain is too intense, find an exit ramp or gas station and wait it out.
