How Do I Report Someone Who Exploits Children?

I AM JUST TRYING TO FIND OUT SOMETHINGS I FOUND OUT MY GRANDKIDS PICTURES R ON SOME ONES MYSPACE AND HE DID NOT HAVE PERMISSION TO PUT THEM ON THERE I WANT THEM DELETED AND HE WILL NOT DELETE THEM SO COULD U PLEASE HELP ME PLEASE I DO NOT WANT THERE PICS ON HIS MYSPACE AND IF U CANT HELP ME PLEASE SEND ME A ADDRESS OF SOMEONE WHO CAN HELP ME I DO NOT TRUST THIS MAN WITH THESE PICS

Unfortunately , there is not a single legal thing you can do, once they are posted anywhere that the public can get them, they become public property, and anyone can do anything they want with them.
That is why they always say you need to moniter your kids actions, and tell them what is safe and allowed for them to do or not do online.
But you better keep a close watch on this man, cause you never know how much information he has about these children, age, names, location, exact address??? VERY EASY to get all this information on line.
Check to see also if the children might have been chatting with them on the internet , or trying to ? to see what his intent/interest in them is… if he is saying anything off colored/sexually suggestive to them, you can then report him. Make sure someone is always with them just in case he already is watching them.
NOW in the future though, myspace has an option that allows you to 1. keep your page completely private so no one but your friends can see/keep the photos or information 2. you can choose to make it where the intended viewer /friend hopeful must know the myspace page holders last name or email address to even view the page.
3. you can even select an option that disallows the viewer from saving any photos of yours at all to their computer. Check all these out .
but if you do not make the site private… anyone can see it and have ALL their information in minutes.

we are being targeted, criminal terrorist threats have been made against our family because of knowledge we possess

Some people on this site are nuts…. Nearly 1 out of every 9 stories on the Safety Center (mostly the ones like this) have some one claiming to be threatened by terrorists or something equally insane.

i am a mom and my worest fear is child molesters there are some in my area that have not been register and as parents we were never notified about them to watch my kids what can i do to help with this around my community please help ???

My grandchildren are being sexually molested by their step-brother. He is 13 or 14; my grandchildren are 8 and 4. I have reported it to the police and they are not going to do anything about it. Their mother (my daughter) refuses to remove the boy from their home; she doesn’t want to rock the boat with her marriage. The children’s father is unwilling to fight for custody. Child protective services was called in by the police also, but no one is doing anything about it. They live in a small town in Indiana. Can anyone offer suggestions about what I can do to save my grandchildren? I suspect that my daughter’s husband is also involved, but I can’t get the 8-yr-old to tell me.

First, my condolences for your struggle. You sound like a wonderful grandma. You might want to speak with a therapist specializing in childrens issues who can help you speak to your daughter. It is clear to me that she feels overwhelmed and powerless. Perhaps she will let you take the kids if she believes it is to ‘ help her marriage”. It would just be ” for a visit”. This might provide a cooling off period for everyone. Encourage her to find someone to talk to as well since it sounds like your daughter needs to sort out her own issues. In the meantime, don’t let up on child protective services or the police.( Squeaky wheel). If you can in the meantime, take them out to lunch etc. spend as much time as you can with the little ones and the older one seperately without mentioning the problem. Children will open up at unguarded moments and in suprising ways. Are you in a position to petition the court for custody? Bottom line is you are on the right track just keep at it and dont worry about the small town issue. I will keep you in my prayers. good luck

I was molested by my step father when i was growing up and i was put in foster care and children homes and he only got 10 yrs probation there is a problem in the law enforcement field about taking this seriously. and the curt system what about protecting the kids i wasn’t protected in the sence of him being put in prison i don’t understand and get angry at times he now lives in WA. state

thats terrible, and the reason i do not post any pictures of my family on MySpace, but it needs to be addressed… the fact of posting other peoples photos, just delete your page and maybe that may take the pictures off….???

Parents have a responsability in educating
their children about alcohol abuse, drug
abuse, and SEX. In addition it important
to educate children about WRONG types of
people as it is a reality. Children need to
be taught about CHOICE of friends.

I live in a small town and know of a sexual predator who runs a pizza place in town he lives in a different town and is registered there but not in our town and isnt suposed to be there over 8 hrs a week and he is there like 30 hrs a week and is always around little kids i dont go in there because he repulses me. I find it disgusting and wrong but our police wont do anything because there is enough corruption in that system alone. and im not sure what to do i want him to go down i want my child to be safe. i want to go out to eat with out feeling like there is a creep watching my childs every move. what can i do?
