Stalking is a serious crime that casts a shadow of fear over more than 1 million Americans each year, and can take a wide variety of forms. You might be followed, threatened or harassed; find damage to your property; or have your phone or online activity monitored. You might not even realize you are being stalked, or that this is even a crime. But trust your instincts: if you ever feel threatened, nervous or unsafe from someone else’s actions, take it seriously. These situations can be very dangerous.
The National Center for Victims of Crime have developed an online Stalking Resource Center to help you take action against a stalker, and regain control of your life.
- Take threats seriously and always trust your instincts if you feel you could be in danger.
- Contact a crisis hotline, such as a domestic violence or rape crisis program.
- Create a safety plan.
- Don’t respond or communicate with a stalker.
- Keep all evidence of the stalking, including notes or e-mails, dates and locations of any contact, or photos of damages to your property.
- Contact the police: every state has stalking laws in place.
Check out the National Center for Victims of Crime’s online stalking resource center for more tips and materials to help you fight back against a stalker.

AMW is a very good website on the computer, and on television. People like myself learn about different situations concerning human behavior, especially in today’s society. I have been studying human behavior since 1972, and my knowledge has increased very much with information and programs like this.

been there. so very scarey…creepy. Up-town, I have severial stores, where I know them enough to go hide and call the police. make sure your Apartment and or house is safe. Sites all over the web that help you be as safe as possible. records of every encounter, in a notebook or two is very needed. And CALL for help! Keeping family and close friends updated is a must. Even to the point of when you leave and come home. The staulker will probably know. Don’t you think your family and friends should.
FAMILY AND FRIENDS: if your member or friend shares the scarey thing of being followed, and stalked.CARE ENOUGH to help set up a home base and phone line help. DO YOU WANT THEM ALIVE?…..OR DEAD

Dear Mr. John Walsh,
I have experienced this situation. My stalker began stalking me in 2005. He chased behind me several times and one time he chased me to my house.I just seen him at a pharmacy when I was buying medicine for younger son. He drives a red Nissan and I just seen him yesterday at Barnes along with my children. Anytime he sees me, he would circle around my car. What should I do?
