If you are one of the many Americans experiencing financial difficulties from a job loss, illness, or overspending, you might be feeling overwhelmed as you fall behind in your responsibilities. With mounting debt, crumbling credit, or even the possibility of losing your home, any offer of debt relief can sound very enticing. If you encounter a company that claims it can fix your credit, or that offers quick solutions to helping you to avoid foreclosure, you should always be wary, particularly if they ask for money upfront. Many of these companies end up taking your money, but never provide you with any services.
The Federal Trade Commission has plenty of information on their site to help you avoid a scam, and to help you find the few companies that have been authorized by the U.S. government to provide you with assistance. Check out FTC.org to help get you on your way to dealing with debt.

I agree with this article. there is many different companies that advertise on tv and send you information online and in the mail my best bet to tell everyone go on to rip off.com and they give you a list of rip off companies that will inform you that these companies are rip offs also in the video the ftc is another good way to rebuild your credit safely with out giving companies information that will danger your credit. Also stay away from creditors that say that they can help they won’t
this is a well thouht out article and very true and to be safe is to be smart about credit teach kids and people early then it will last for a while in life…
