Playing It Safe When Toys Are Recalled

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, over 400 products are recalled every year. Consumer alerts have been issued on products ranging from toothpaste to portable soccer goals. The reasons for product recall vary, but could include anything from toxicity and combustibility, to part malfunction among them. It is imperative for consumers to be aware of product recalls, and to know that even common household products can pose serious safety hazards.
