How Do I Report Someone Viewing Child Pornography?

Marlene B.: Who do you contact in order to report people that view child pornography?

JW: If you suspect someone is looking at child pornography, report it right away. When you report something to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) Cybertipline, the information you submit will be passed on to the proper authorities to make sure this lowlife is stopped. The Cybertipline is a collaboration between NCMEC, the Department of Justice, and US Postal Inspectors. One of the biggest tragedies is that the images of these kids, once they are out on the Internet, can circulate indefinitely. It’s important that every case is reported to help protect our children and get these predators off the web.

Can you be sued by the person viewing child porn? A house keeper reported to me that she found child porn while cleaning someones house. I encouraged her to report to the authorities.
